Our Story
In 1974, Mike opened a small shop in La Marque with just a few fishing rods and hunting tools.
Six months later, he and Betty married—and she joined the shop full time. Over the years, they added jewelry, firearms, electronics, and more. Today, their children and grandchildren carry on the family legacy.
Family & Community
We’re still in the same spot on Highway 3.. We’re still family owned and run. We love seeing third-generation customers—grandmas who shopped here now bring their grandkids.
La Marque is our home, and we’re proud to support local schools, nonprofits, and the Lamar Economic Development Corporation.
